- Animal Survival – Male and female reproductive systems, gametes, fertilisation and implantation, structure and function of the placenta, digestion and absorption in the gut, structure and function of the kidney.
- The Body in Action – gas exchange in the lungs and tissues, the heart and blood circulatory system.
Or should have achieved intermediate 2 Biology Animal Physiology unit.
